SYDNEY FESTIVAL
The Pavilion design for Sydney Festival required durable, sufficient seating and circulation space for the crowds which gather during Sydney Festival during both day and night. With two main colors in its logo design, the blue is the color of the ocean and red color represents the enthusiasm. The logo was designed in the soft and curvy font, in which character Y in "SYDNEY" was designed as wings matching with canopy and creating a consistency in its design.

The pavilion was designed based on the physical around me and I have an idea about atoms, which are the basic units of matter and the defining structure of elements. Everything on Earth is made up of atoms—the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the buildings and houses we live in, and our own bodies. I started to figure out different shapes of atoms following the geometry. The wing symbolizes the developing of a rising city and also a freedom from which the designer indicating their creativity without any restrains. The curves show the movements and ever developing. From above you will discover that the city is a flow: the water is an important part of the city. The visitors effortlessly recognize the wings stretching freely in the sky.
